I'm a cell biologist and science illustrator. The organelles I spent years studying under a microscope are now printable activity packs for small children. Real biology, made visual, from the very beginning.
Each pack explores a different theme in biology. Activities within each pack grow with your child, from black-and-white cards for newborns to coloring activities for toddlers. All free to download and print at home.
The cell plus seven organelles. The fascinating structures inside every living cell.
Neurons, blood cells, muscle, skin, bone, lung, intestinal cells, and white blood cells. The many shapes cells can take inside one body.
How one cell becomes two. Eight stages of cell division, illustrated step by step.
Brain, heart, lungs, intestine, liver, kidneys, skin, and bone. The organs that keep it all running.
From family traits to the proteins that build us. The story of how genes work, told step by step.
Follow your food from mouth to gut. Eight stops through the system that breaks down everything you eat.
How your body defends itself. The cells and systems that fight infection.
What your food is actually made of. Sugars, fats, proteins, and fiber, down at the level of molecules.
I design every illustration myself, inspired by the cells I used to study under the microscope. The real shapes of cells and organelles are already fascinating. I just adapt and color them for small eyes.
Children absorb more than we think. Lupe isn't about raising baby geniuses who can name every organelle. But if children have books and toys about dinosaurs, why not about cells? This is about giving our hidden, microscopic world the presence it deserves, from the very beginning.
